Kids eight and under are affectionately come to be known as the "bobbleheads". This age group presents unique challenges for the football coach. In this DVD set I tackle the subject of teaching the DW to these kids. In addition to the classroom session, I install this offense with a group of 7-8 year olds that have never played organized tackle football before. The field installation covers the Buck Series and Fenton Series and it pretty much unedited so that you can see how I install to kids for the first time.

Installing a Wedge Series can help enhance your Double Wing Power Series by putting pressure on perimeter defenders while forcing them to defend the wedge play. Each Wedge Series achieves the same end result, pressure on the perimeter, but you choose which series will work best for you based on the strengths of your team. Wedge blocking is a simple yet effective blocking scheme that can be taught quickly to youth teams. When executed correctly the Wedge blocking will wear down the interior defense while getting a minimum of 3 yards per carry. When the defense takes away the Wedge, go to the edge with Perimeter blocking for the Monster Sweep and Wingback Reverse. Coach Gregory and Coach Mead will explain the concepts for both types of blocking as well as adjustments to different defenses.
